Internationals Back For Leinster

Leinster will have all their Irish Internationals available for their match against The Dragons on Saturday at Lansdowne Road. In contrast The Dragons will be missing their Welsh internationals for the clash. Leinster will be looking to bounce back from their defeat to The Borders last weekend and a win would put some distance between themselves and The Dragons who are one place below them in fourth in the League.

ERC Announce Semi-Final Lineup

Munster will have to travel to play the winners of Stade Francais and Newcastle should they manage to progress to the semi-final of the Heineken Cup. Leinster however have recieved a home semi-final draw, with the winner of their match scheduled to play the winners of Toulouse and Northampton.

Leinster Slump To Defeat Against The Borders

Leinster last night slumped to defeat against bottom of the table scottish side, The Borders. Leinster were without their Irish Internationals but despite this still gave a below par performance and gave The Borders only their second win of the season.

Leinster Squad for Borders Match

Declan Kidney has named a squad to face the Borders on Saturday evening. Kidney will narrow down the squad to a final 22 closer to the kick off. Gary Brown, Christian Warner and David Quinlan all return from injury to be included in the squad.

Leinster Game Moved To Landsdowne Road

Due to the poor condition of the playing surface in Donnybrook, Leinster have been forced to move their next game to Landsdowne Road. The game, against The Dragons has been re-fixed for Lansdowne Road on Sunday week, January 30th at 16:45.

Heineken Cup Quarter Final Update

Today the ERC finalised the days and times of the quarter finals of this year’s Heineken Cup. Munster will face Biarittz on Sunday April 3rd at 4:00pm while Leinster will be playing host to Leicester at 5:15pm on Saturday April 2nd.

Both Irish sides left in the Heineken Cup will be up against it when they play two of the strongest teams in the competition in April, Biarittz and Leicester. Leinster have been ‘rewarded’ by being top seeds with a match against the eight seed, Leicester. Meanwhile Munster will have to travel to Biarittz, a venue where both Leicester and Wasps have already lost at this season.

Leinster Cruise Past Treviso

Leinster cruised past Treviso tonight claiming a XX points to XX victory. Leinster scored X tries with Shane Horgan claiming a hat-trick and Shane Jennings claiming two for himself.

No Change For Leinster

Declan Kidney has decided against making any changes to his side ahead of Saturday’s Pool 2 clash with Treviso in Dublin. Leinster have already qualified for the quarter-finals but will be looking to win to ensure a high seeding.

Leinster Into Quarter Finals

Leinster saw off the challenge of Bath today to seal their place in the quarter finals of the Heineken Cup. Malcolm O’Kelly and David Holwell scored two late tries after a Brendon Daniel try had given Bath the lead to assure an amazing comeback win and a place in the quarter finals.
