McCall Names Side For Glasgow Match

Mark McCall has named his Ulster side to face Glasgow on Friday night in the Celtic League. Ulster will be deperate to win and put some daylight between themselves and Connacht in the race for the third Heineken Cup qualifier spot for Ireland.

McCall has made three changes of personnel and one positional change to the starting XV which was narrowly defeated by The Dragons in Newport two weeks ago.


Simon Best switches to tight-head to accommodate Ronan McCormak who is named ahead of Rod Moore, while Paul Shields starts for the first time since the match against Cardiff on the 16th January. Adam Larkin will start in place of David Humphreys who is taking part in the North V South Tsunami relief match on Saturday.

Neil Doak and Andy Ward return to the 22 on the replacements bench, Ward having recovered from a knee injury picked up whilst playing for his club. While Tim Barker provides second row cover with Rowan Frost unavailable having sustained a ligament injury to his ankle during training.
