Strong Munster Side To Face Scarlets
Munster have named a strong side including their Internationals for the trip to face Llanelli Scarlets on Saturday. The match will be the last attempt for some of the players to impress Ireland coach Eddie O’Sullivan ahead of the Six Nations opener on Sunday week.
In particular Denis Leamy and Alan Quinlan will be looking to put in good performances to secure positions on the match day 22. Alan Quinlan will have the opportunity to face off against his rival for the Number 6 shirt for Ireland, Simon Easterby, who should start for Llanelli.
The other notable inclusion on the team is Ronan O’Gara who returns from injury to start at out-half. Elsewhere in the backline Alan Gaffney has decided on some experimentation with the inclusion of Shaun Payne and Jason Holland in the centres and Paul Devlin on the wing.
