Connacht Squad For Trip To The Borders
Connacht have named a squad of 22 for this Friday’s clash with Borders in Netherdale. Matt Lacey will miss the game with a leg injury, while James Downey (Collarbone) is on the long-term injured list. Peter Bracken and Brendan O’Connor come into the squad.
Just a few weeks ago Connacht would have been heavily fancied for this clash but their recent form in the Celtic League is extremely poor and a loss on Friday would make it five losses in sucession. Meanwhile the Borders are going the opposite direction picking up their second win of the season last Saturday against Leinster.
