Leinster Slump To Defeat Against The Borders

Leinster last night slumped to defeat against bottom of the table scottish side, The Borders. Leinster were without their Irish Internationals but despite this still gave a below par performance and gave The Borders only their second win of the season.

The Borders made most of the running in the first half, but were made to wait until stoppage time before the break before getting their first try. Chris Cusiter did the initial damage, before John Dalziel acted as the link for flanker Andy Miller to flop over.

Leinster hung in there for the second-half, but were too far adrift when Brian O’Riordan touched down.
