Ulster skipper Andy Ward is to retire from representative rugby at the end of the season. The 34-year-old flanker will officially announce his decision at a news conference on Wednesday when the side to face the Ospreys is revealed.



Ward was capped 28 times for Ireland and over 100 times for Ulster. He was also part of Ulster’s European Cup winning side in 1999.
