Ulster Move Ahead Of Connacht
Ulster moved ahead of Connacht in the Celtic League table courtesy of a 23-14 victory over their major rivals for European qualification at Ravenhill on Saturday afternoon.
Mark McCall’s side only led 10-9 at the break, but a try from Paul Steinmetz and two penalties from David Humphreys sealed the win for the home side, and denied Connacht the precious bonus point that Bernard Jackman’s touchdown looked to have earned them.
