Leinster fans will have been delighted that Gordon D’Arcy has returned for the province and appears to not have been set back at all by his absense with a groin injury. D’Arcy came on late in the game against Cardiff yesterday and almost immediately made a break to seal a 15 points to 6 victory for Leinster.

Leinster had been the better side for much of the match but in the second half with Leinster leading by 10 points to 6 Cardiff put them under severe pressure for extended periods of time, but D’Arcy’s introduction and subsequent break to set up Girvan Dempsey for a try sealed the victory for Leinster.
