Ulster Edge Out Edinburgh

Ulster edged out a battling Edinburgh side to win by 36 points to 34 in an exciting encounter at Ravenhill. The win continues Ulster’s recent improving form and moves them to within 3 points of Connacht.

Tries from Kevin Maggs and Paul Steinmetz helped Ulster lead 13-0 but a Paul Boston try and three Brendan Laney kicks levelled the game by half-time.

Edinburgh even managed to lead by 27-22 in the second half but tries by Tommy Bowe and Campbell Feather put Ulster ahead again and a late Glasgow try wasn’t enough to give them the win.
