Munster And Leinster Win

In Friday night’s Celtic League clashes both Munster and Leinster recorded wins, placing them in second and third respectively at the half way stage in the league. Both sides have completed 10 games with the second half of the competition starting on December 17th after the next two rounds of the Heineken Cup. Both sides will be delighted with their performances in the Celtic League thusfar, especially as they both had to compete without their International players at the start of the season.

The League could have it’s most pivotal games soon with both league leaders The Ospreys and Leinster heading to Musgrave Park to face Munster. Munster however are not without worries tonight following a neck injury to out-half Paul Burke during the match against Edinburgh tonight. Despite the injury to Burke Munster won by 11 points to nothing against the Scottish outfit.

In Dublin, Leinster won against another Scottish outfit, Glasgow. Despite scoring early on, Leinster left it until late to secure the 22 points to 16 victory.
