Eddie O’Sullivan, in keeping with expectations has named an experimental side for this weekend’s match against the USA in Landsdowne Rd. The side features two new caps, Denis Leamy, who comes in for Johnny O’Connor and Tommy Bowe, who replaces Denis Hickie on the wing.


The side contains a number of positional changes, namely the moving of Geordan Murphy to what many regard as his natural position as full back. Shane Horgan, another survior from Saturday moves to the wing to make room for Kevin Maggs at centre.
