Munster picked up their second win in this year’s Heineken Cup this afternoon when they beat Neath-Swansea Ospreys by just 2 points. The match was an extremely tight affair with just one try, by Peter Stringer.


The match was mainly a battle of the two kickers, The Osprey’s Gavin Henson and Munster’s Ronan O’Gara and in the end Henson’s failed efforts cost the Osprey’s dearly.


Munster are now at the top of Pool 4 ahead of the break for the Autumn Internationals, however they will be up against upon the resumption of the Heineken Cup, with home and away fixtures against Castres on consecutive weeks.
