Alan Gaffney has announced what has to be considered a strong squad for Munster’s match against The Ospreys on Sunday. Donncha O’Callaghan returns from a long layoff from injury while Shaun Payne returns to the team having picked up a knock a couple of weeks ago.


Trevor Hogan and Mossie Lawlor drop to the bench to accomodate O’Callaghan and Payne. David Wallace will also start the match in place of Denis Leamy who with the highly competitive back row, isn’t named on the squad.

Munster (V Ospreys): C Cullen; J Kelly, S Payne, R Henderson, A Horgan; R O’Gara, P Stringer; M Horan, F Sheahan, J Hayes; D O’Callaghan, P O’Connell; J Williams, D Wallace, A Foley (capt).


Replacements: J Flannery, G McIlwham, T Hogan, A Quinlan, M Prendergast, P Burke, M Lawlor.
