Connacht Get Off To Winning Start

Connacht got their season off to a winning start in Galway thanks in the main part to former Australian sevens captain Paul Warwick who put in a great performance as he scored 14 points in their defeat of Glasgow.

Disappointing Start For Munster

Last night Munster began their Celtic League campaign and they’ll surely be disappointed with the performance. Munster showed little of the form that helped them beat Newcastle in there pre-season friendlies and were it not for flashes of brilliance from Christian Cullen and an another impressive performance from David Leamy the score line could have been far far worse.

Connacht Squad Announced

Connacht have named a 23 man squad for Saturday’s Celtic League opener against Glasgow at the Sportsground, kicking off at 2:30pm. There is an injury concern over Niall O’Brien and the squad will be reduced to 22 for Saturday.
