Alan Gaffney has named a strong Munster side for this Sunday’s match against Llanelli at Thomond Park. Gaffney had a full compliment of Irish internationals available for selection and has included most of them in his starting line-up.


The notable exception is in the case of Dennis Leamy, who having shown impressive form all season has kept David Wallace on the bench. Shaun Payne has been left off the squad entirely but one has to assume that he is out with an injury as his form has been good of late.


In a move that has surprised some Munster Fans, Alan Gaffney has kept faith with last year’s partnership of Mike Mullins and Rob Henderson in the centre despite having tried a number of center partnerships so far this season.
