Leinster have signed Wellington Hurricanes out-half David Holwell on a one-year deal from the Southern Hemisphere franchise. Most observers would agree that Leinster have struggled over the last few years in this position.

Holwell, the Hurricanes’ highest point-scorer in the Super-12s, will provide extra options for Leinster along with Felipe Contepomi, David McAllister and Brian O’Meara.
