Ulster Snatch Victory At The Death

A late Paddy Wallace drop goal clinched a late victory for Ulster in their opening Celtic League match against Edinburgh at Murrayfield.

Edinburgh looked set to record a victory against last year’s second placed team but the late drop goal ended their hopes. Both teams were guilty of making a lot of basic errors throughout the match, but Edinburgh managed to get ahead early on in the match.

Ulster spent the majority of the match chasing Edinburgh, but in the end will be happy to have got the victory.
