Leinster today managed to draw with one of the most fancied sides in the Celtic League - Cardiff Blues. Leinster may have been happy with the result, but the viewing public probably aren’t.


The match was a scrappy affair, devoid of tries with the only scores coming through penalties. On top of that there were plenty of handling errors, which have been a feature of all the Celtic League opening fixtures so far. In the end though, Leinster will have to be happy that despite missing all their internationals they got some points.
