The IRFU have confirmed that an Irish side will travel to Japan for two tests next June while some of the team’s members will be on tour with the British and Irish Lions in New Zealand.

In addition to the tests against Japan, the Irish management are looking for a third match for acclimatisation early in the tour. The two tests will take place on June 12th and June 19th ahead of the Lions’ first test against the All Blacks on June 25th
