Munster appear to have finished their deal with former Aussie international Tim Bowman hours ahead of the Celtic League deadline yesterday.

Bowman looks set to be added to the province’s line-up and is just waiting on a work permit before he can start playing, maybe even joining up with the squad for the opening game of the season against the Osprey’s on Friday night.

Bowman was capped 15 times for Australia and fills the gap left since David Pusey picked up a shoulder injury that ruled him out until Christmas.
