Leinster yesterday signed England ‘A’ international Ricky Nebbett on a one year deal. Nesbett comes to Leinster form Leicester and also played with NEC Harlequins earlier in his career. Leinster were eagar to get the deal done ahead of Monday’s Celtic League deadline.

Munster look to be on the verge of finding a replacement for the injured David Pusey. Apparently the province are close to signing former Australian international Tom Bowman.


Bowman won 15 caps for the Wallabies and played for Viadana in Italy last season, when they reached the Parker Pen Shield final. Bowman signed for Worcester during the summer, but his contract was terminated on fitness grounds, according to the newly-promoted English club. However Bowman has passed the Munster fitness test and looks set to sign soon.
