The IRFU have dealt the Celtic League another blow, by confirming that the Irish internationals who went on the tour to South Africa last summer will miss the start of this year’s Celtic League.

This will not help the profile of the Celtic League in Ireland, with Heineken Cup qualification not being decided by the results unlike in Wales and Scotland the League has always struggled here.
