Leinster Players Back Ella
The Leinster players last night came out to express their support for their coach Gary Ella. Gary Ella’s position as Leinster coach has been the cause of a great deal of speculation in the media recently, due to his teams recent poor performances.
Both the Sunday Times and the Sunday Independent both reported on the poor state of Leinster Rugby, and both speculated that Ella would be the fall guy for the team’s poor performances. It is believed that the Leinster branch do have an opt out on Ella’s three year deal, but the opt out clause expires soon which has been the cause of much of the speculation.

Well what a typically irish decision.
Gary Ella is a good bloke possessing strong managerial and planning skills. Gary is a clear communicator. He is a team player i.e. overalll organisation of the club. Gary possesses an unparralleld knowledge of rugby union.
Leinster officialdom should hang their heads in shame for cutting loose a talented coach. Their action is short sighted and was not in the best long term interests of the club.
Shame! Shame! Shame!
