Ulster Hang On To Top

Ulster were made to work extremely hard for their 19 points to 8 win against bottom of the table Borders last night. Ulster would have been looking for a bonus point win to guarentee that they would stay on top, but now if Llanelli manage to get the bonus point win on Sunday in their game, Ulster will slip to second in the league. Ulster will also be missing former All Blacks centre Paul Steinmetz for their final two league games, after he suffered a broken leg late in the game. Tyrone Howe is also doubtful having suffered an ankle injury.
