Munster Annihilated By Cardiff

Cardiff kept there Heineken Cup qualification hopes alive with a 9 try demolition of Munster at the Arms Park last night. Munster may have been depleted and left tired from their epic Heineken Cup semi-final last Sunday but no-one predicted they would be defeated so soundly.

Munster never looked in the game, and handling errors blighted their play throughout. Neither side were helped by the extremely poor reffering that was on display thanks to Scotland’s Iain Rampage. In the end the score line was flattering to Munster with their two tries scored by Rob Henderson cutting through a sleeping Cardiff defense. The final score of Cardiff 60 Munster 14, is sure to depress further even the Munster fans who have no value in the Celtic League.
