O’Driscoll To Stay

The Leinster Branch of the IRFU today confirmed that Ireland captain Brian O’Driscoll will sign a new 2 year deal with the province. As stated on BBC Sport earlier today the 25 year-old will sign his new contract later this week.



O’Dricoll who recently won his 50th cap for Ireland is currently the captain of the side and his new deal was greeted with delight by the Leinster coach Gary Ella.

“It’s great news for Leinster and for Irish rugby. We can really start planning for next year now that Brian has agreed to stay on.”



“Brian is one of the best in the business in his position and I’m delighted that he has opted to stay and play his rugby in Ireland.”
