Burke Signs For Munster

Munster today announced that they have agreed terms to bring Paul Burke to Munster under a two year deal. Burke has spend the last four seasons playing at out-half for Harelquins making over 90 appearances for the team.

Burke previously played for Munster at the beginning of the professional era around 8 years ago. He today said “I am really delighted to be going back to Munster. They have become one of the truly great sides in Europe. They have great ambition and I hope I can bring the experience I’ve gained playing over here to help them achieve their goals.”

It remains to be seen what role Burke will have in the Munster side, with Ronan O’Gara currently being the established out-half for the province.
