Leinster Fail To Get Result
Leinster may have had all their Triple Crown heros at their disposal for this game, but that didn’t stop Llanelli Scarlets from comfortably beating them to stay in joint first position in the Celtic League, and close the points difference gap with Ulster.
Leinster managed to say in contention until half time, trailing at the interval by 13 points to 5, but five Llanelli tries in the second half ended whatever hopes Leinster may have had. Replacement McWeeney managed to get two tries late in the game to give Leinsters tally some degree of respectibility. The final score Llanelli 51 - 20 Leinster.
