Connacht had the perfect result to build confidence one week ahead of their Parker Pen Challenge Cup semi-final next weekend. Connacht beat the Ospreys by 24 points to 21 to leapfrog the Ospreys and move into fifth in the Celtic League table.

Connacht performed brilliantly to take the win having been trailing by 18 points to 7 at the interval but their two tries in the second half along with a penalty sealed the victory for them.
