McCall for Ulster Job
Ireland Under 21 coach Mark McCall has got the nod to succeed Alan Solomons at Ulster in a 3 year deal which will start this June. The Ulster job had been expected to go to former Ireland assistant coach Declan Kidney, but McCall’s strong background in Ulster Rugby may be the reason he got the job.
McCall was involved in coaching Ulster club side Ballynahinch as well as being involved on a provincial level with Ulster during 1998 - 2000.
