Ireland will be relatively happy with their preformance in atrocious conditions at Landsdowne Road today. The Irish eventually won out by 19 points to 3 thanks to tries from Malcom O’Kelly, Brian O’Driscoll and Shane Horgan.

Geordan Murphy made a successful return to the Irish team, and said that he was quite happy with the preformance considering the conditions. Ireland will be looking forward towards the Triple Crown decider against Scotland next weekend, but the slim margin of win today means that the slight chance of winning the Six Nations has become even smaller.
