Double Blow For Leinster
Connacht took four second half tries to come from behind to beat Leinster at the Sportsground yesterday. Leinster will also now have to contend with their star out half Felipe Contepomi recieving yet another injury in his short career.
Leinster made a good start to the match going in at half time leading by 16 points to 8, but due to muliple sin binnings and missed conversions, Connacht were able to take the win and the bonus point. The win also takes Connacht up above Munster in the Celtic League, with Leinster remaining in 3rd last place.
Also it’s been revealed that Contepomi’s injury will see him sidelined for the next 4 to 6 weeks, ruling him out of playing in either of the European competitions for Connacht or Munster.
