Leinster tonight continued their poor form making it five losses in a row. This unenviable record was sealed when Cardiff’s South African centre Pieter Muller scored with 12 minutes left.


Leinster managed to stay close to Cardiff throughout the match trailing at half-time by two points but in the end Muller’s try was the difference between the teams.


Connacht were unable to win in Scotland despite recovering from going 13 points behind in the early stages of the match. In the end it finished Borders 40 - Connacht 29
