New Ulster Captain

Ulster coach Alan Solomons has decided to take a leaf out of the Connacht playbook by deciding to rotate some of his players for this weekend’s Celtic League action.



Neil McMillan is Ulster’s new captain in place of Andy Ward who is being rested. There are six other changes to the starting line-up, with Shane Steward, Kieran Campbell and David Humphreys among those who will now be starting this weekend.

Ulster: Bryn Cunningham, James Topping, Shane Stewart, Paul Steinmetz, Scott Young, David Humphreys, Kieran Campbell, Robbie Kempson, Paul Shields, Simon Best, Gary Longwell, Matt McCullough, Neil Best, Neil McMillan (Captain), Roger Wilson



Replacements: Nigel Brady, Rod Moore, Matt Mustchin, Warren Brosnihan, Neil Doak, Paddy Wallace, Seamus Mallon
