Ireland Lose In Paris
Paul O’Connell’s men lost today in Paris despite scoring two tries and not suffering the total destruction many had predicted would occur without stars like O’Driscoll and Murphy. Ireland managed to stay in touch with France throughout the first half thanks to a fine preformance from Ronan O’Gara but two French tries just after half-time brought the score to 28 - 10 effectively putting the game beyond Ireland.
Ireland managed one more converted try in reply but with Ireland giving it all, the French scored once more bringing their final tally to 35 points. So the match finished France 35, Ireland 10.
