With eight Munster players in the Irish 22 to play France, Alan Gaffney has been forced to select a new-look side for the game against The Borders in Musgrave Park on Friday night.

Despite having Mike Mullins and John Kelly available for selection Alan Gaffney has decided to give both of them a break. Also it has been announced that Christian Cullen will be able to make his Munster debut away to Llanelli on the 20th of February. Munster fans will hopefully have their first opportunity to Cullen in Musgrave Park on February 27th when he makes his home debut ahgainst Neath/Swansea Ospreys.

Munster (v The Borders): Jeremy Staunton; M Lawler, J Jones-Hughes, R Henderson, A Horgan; J Holland (Capt), E Reddan; S Kerr, J Blaney, G McIlwham, T Hogan, D Pusey, P Malone, D Wallace, S Keogh.

Replacements: Fk Roche, J Flannery, D Sheehan, T Hayes, F Murphy, M Mullins, D Crotty.
