Heineken Cup Round 6 News
With only one team qualified for the knock-out stages of the Heineken Cup so far it’s all to play for for Leinster and Munster this weekend. Ulster will be looking to play for pride in their match this weekend also.
Munster will host Bourgoin on Saturday. Munster have everything to play for and with Gloucester believing they can still top the group, Munster will have to put plenty of points past Bourgoin to qualify. In their favour is the fact that French sides are bad at travelling, and also Bourgoin have just sacked their coach Philippe Saint-Andre after he reportedly applied for the job of Wales coach. This can not be good for team morale. Munster have a number of injury worries however. Frankie Sheahan and full back Shaun Payne are both struggling with knee injuries.
Leinster also have all to play for in their match against Biarritz this weekend. They have injuries doubts also with Eric Miller having a shoulder injury that may prevent him travelling to France, however they will receive a boost with out-half Christian Warner looking like he will be fit for the trip to France.
