Boost For Ireland
Ireland have recieved a massive boost with 3 weeks to go until the Six Nations kicks off. Brian O’Driscoll has been cleared to resume light training this week. It appears that the damage to his hamstring from the Sale game 10 days ago wasn’t as bad as first suspected.
This means that in all likelyhood O’Driscoll will be fit to play against France on Valentines Day. However Leinster won’t get a boost from O’Driscoll unless they progress to the knock-out stages, as he’s not expected to be fit for either of their last two Pool games.
