The International Rugby Board (IRB) has confirmed the referee appointments for the 2004 RBS Six Nations Championship which kicks off on February 14.

Following the rigours of a Rugby World Cup, a number of the ‘big name’ referees are missing, the IRB saying it is also part of their “policy of bringing through the next generation of match officials.”
